They are available in a range of materials including plastic, ductile iron and cast iron. Each manhole drain cover and gully clearly indicates where the product is suitable for, from driveways and patios to roads and kerb sides. From 2.5 tonne A 15 load rating for domestic uses, through to C 250 and D 400 and above for commercial uses.
